It's a very real, direct performance, Solo or with an ensemble. A unique experience every time. The dynamic arrangements lend themselves to secretive lineups. Strings featuring orchestral sections are one of the best parts of The Trio. Special dates get effects pedals. Recent awards have been won as a solo performer. At its core it is All Pure Energy, an ongoing tribute to ongoing influences. Chris Baron Music insists upon itself but does not dwell...you are invited along.

Chris toured independently the entirety of 2024 and 2025 promoting the album Anonymous #10, Starchild filling out the sound nightly with her trusty acoustic cello. They are based out of the Pacific Northwest with a touring focus west of the Rockies plus Texas. All within Chris' chosen network, playing live music for People.
He won the songwriting competition at the Tuscon Folk Festival in 2022, Solo against several full bands, and was featured at Folk Alliance International the following year. In 2025 he was a finalist at Wildflower Festival in Richardson TX, and very nearly met Chris Barron from The Spin Doctors, who suspected he might be a wayward son. From those larger stages to living room couches, the music matured and focused. Story after story are added, perspective lengthens, attitude focuses.
