Ben C and I were brought together by producer/engineer Kris Farm in late 2003 at Oregon State University. The band Maryspeak put together an original album of Ben's songs and called it *Tiny Blue Dot*. It was finally released to Spotify in mid-2022. A new batch of songs was recorded at Hallowed Halls in Portland Oregon in March 2023, but the sessions were scrapped by Ben after numerous attempts to mix them to his satisfaction. I was in a surprisingly natural role in this group as second guitar and harmony vocalist...and that was because of an immense amount of respect for Ben C's songwriting.
